A Letter From The Founder
Some of my happiest childhood memories were spent with my grandparents, where my love for old detective stories first began. We'd spend hours watching classic mysteries together, trying to spot the clues before the detective revealed the truth. Those stories sparked a lifelong fascination with clever plots, hidden details and the quiet thrill of solving a mystery.
That feeling has stayed with me ever since.
I created The Lantern Post Society to share that same experience with others.
In a world that moves so quickly, I hope these letters encourage you to slow down, make a cup of tea, and lose yourself in a story that arrives through your letterbox each month.

The Lantern Post Society is a monthly mystery-by-post experience. Each month you'll receive the next chapter of an original mystery through beautifully crafted letters, clues, evidence and keepsakes, inviting you to solve the case one delivery at a time.
Not at all! Whether you're a lifelong mystery lover or simply enjoy immersive storytelling, every correspondent begins with Letter One and can follow the investigation at their own pace.
One letter is posted each month, allowing the mystery to unfold gradually over twelve chapters.
Letters are posted on the 15th (or closest date if it falls on the weekend) of each month.
If you join before the monthly cut-off, your first letter will be included in that month's mail run. If you join after the cut-off, you'll automatically be added to the following month's mailing list and will begin your journey with Letter One then.
Yes! Every new correspondent always begins with Letter One, no matter when they join, so everyone experiences the mystery from the very beginning.
Every envelope contains the next chapter of the mystery, along with beautifully designed clues, evidence and occasional keepsakes to help bring the investigation to life.
That's entirely up to you! You can examine every clue and piece together your own theories, or simply enjoy following the story as it unfolds.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. If a payment has already been processed for the current month, that month's letter will still be sent before your subscription ends.
